LOVE YOU MORE
Starring the increasingly ever-present (and delightfully so) Bridget Everett as Karen, a woman balancing her love of chardonnay and casual sex with her job as a counselor at a home for the intellectually disabled, the pilot is deeply committed to finding the best in all of its characters, with director Bobcat Goldthwait embedding a deep sense of real humanity in every scene. Plot Description for Bridget Everett: Rock Bottom
'Bridget Everett's Rock Bottom' is a brand new theatrical event commissioned as part of its New York Voices series, written by Everett with Tony-winning writing duo Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, Matt Ray and Adam Horovitz of the Beastie Boys. In 'Rock Bottom,' Everett barrels through life tip-toeing toward disaster, wine bottle by wine bottle and man by man. Instead of succumbing to her chardonnay-induced stupor, Bridget embraces a series of revelations that lead this voice of an angel to redemption. Rock Bottom is what happens when you're too passionate to give up, and too big to fail.
